My Expectations for German 110

I was interested in this class because both sides of my family are German. It is also some place that I always have wanted to visit. I hope to get an idea of life in Germany and what certain places are known for. I hope to learn more about the culture. I mainly am interested in how German culture differs from cultural standards we have in the United States. I am also interested in the history of Germany such as the Berlin Wall and past wars such as World War 1 since I really do not know a lot about these topics. I am also excited to read the book 'All Quiet on the Western Front' again as I have read this book before and thoroughly enjoyed it.
